First Impressions Team
The first time guest decides within the first few minutes whether he or she will return for a second time visit. A second time guest is our “win”. Whether serving on the parking team, as a greeter, or manning the Guest Experience table, every interaction with new guests matters! We strive to make sure everyone feels welcomed and loved from the moment they step foot out of their cars to the moment they pull out of the parking lot.
Commitment
First Impression volunteers are asked to serve a minimum of 2 Sundays per month.
Who can be involved?
Anyone who can smile and give a high five can find a place to serve on the First Impressions team! Girls and guys ages 15 and up are welcome, even younger ages when paired with an adult. We are a family friendly church and we love families that serve together. Contact First Impression for more details!
Worship & Arts // Production
MCOG Worship & Arts exists so that those who have had a craving for Jesus ignited within them may be able to express their worshipful response to God. Our heart is that through observing a worship experience, those who do not know Jesus would leave asking the question, “Who is this Jesus and why do they enjoy praising and worshiping Him?”
Commitment
Our volunteers are expected to play a role in the worship experience for a minimum of two times a month unless their position is a specialized one (mimes, dancers, poets, etc). While scheduled volunteers will attend one rehearsal throughout the week and be in attendance for soundcheck on Sunday morning. A weekly commitment of 4 hours a week, not including personal practice time for musicians.
Who can be involved?
All musicians, vocalists, mimes, songwriters, dancers, and poets with previous performance experience are welcome to submit a Worship Application, which can be found here. If applying for a specialized position please feel free to contact Worship and Arts for more information. Production Team specializes in audio, video, and lighting. Previous experience is great but no experience is welcomed. Our team will gladly train you in the areas of Production.
E3 Student Ministries
Through children’s ministry we have to chance to engage the hearts of kids when they are most open to the gospel. Everyone’s role in E3 s is important. From serving in the nursery, to teaching or helping in a class you will have the opportunity to show kids that Jesus is real and He loves them!
Commitment
Well, E3 Kids volunteers are asked to serve on an monthly rotating schedule.
Who can be involved?
Anyone 12th grade and older who has a desire to come alongside of kids and disciple them to grow in their relationship with Christ. Additionally, volunteers need to pass background and reference checks since they are working with minors. No experience in teaching or working with kids? Not a problem!!! We will work with you to find the best fit for where to serve and help train you to succeed. Contact the E3 Student Ministry for more information!
